Ok, so after changing my mind from Bauhaus to Typography, I landed on Printmaking. Thought it would be really fun do research something I love doing, instead of breaking my mind trying to get better on something I'm still struggling about. Maybe it's a easy way out, but maybe it will enable me to push it further in a design sense (layout and printmaking on the actual piece) and it will also give a different spectrum towards the subject. I will not only keep loving it, I will also know about it with more depth and theory.
So the idea is to research Printmaking, maybe more into Screen Printing, contemporary artists, old school artists, methods, rules, the teaching of (maybe linking to Bauhaus teaching methods here), use in art and design. I will be looking at artists such as Karel Martens, Mike Perry and more, will think about a questionnaire and will focus on directing the report towards anyone who might be interested in Printmaking. I might, by the end of next week, get down to a more precise question and focus on a specific aspect. Am looking forward to this!
Good luck everyone!

you could really focus in and look at how the act of screen printing affects a designers thought/design process? Only a few graphic designers are designer-makers in this way - most designers don't have any knowledge of how their work is printed - they just hit 'send' and don't even see the finished printed matter.
