This is an indesign mock up of how I am planning on presenting my proposal.The text of the proposal will be at the top and base of the page, and in the recognisable Penguin orange (or blue etc depending on which is easier to read).
This is the style of Penguin's original 1935 design.
The issues I'm expecting to have with the real text (and not the placeholder text that is used above) is that there are too many headings and spaces and it won't create such a tidy solid shape or colour. But this is what I have in mind at the moment, feel free to advise me!

ReplyDeletewhilst it looks pretty I'm not looking forward to having to read it! Maybe on the other side you have text set out like a traditional penguin paperback and the cover is made to look like an actual penguin cover.
What you're showing here doesn't allow for any hierarchy or flow of text.
