Having looked at these on several different monitors I think you need to use 3 different shades of grey on each side of the 'stage' in the top image instead of the 2 you know have and exaggerate the appearance of a glass ceiling slightly and balance the men more in the centre in the 2nd image. I'm picking I know but these things will make them 'more perfecter' ;p
