going to research like crazy at home, and start reading "design as art"
after today i have been looking at the concepts of art and design criticism,
... how it is judged ? who decides this ? why do THEY get to decide this ?

... investigate the "visual message" that designers strive to perfect. what influences them ? what is the perfect design ? is there a perfect design? is the result only in the eye of the beholder ?
... can the quality of the piece only be determined by the target audience ? however can "they" inspect the quality with expertise of a professional critic ? or is that the critics job... however if the critic isn't the target audience...how can he/she produce a valid report on the piece ? the critics are a niche on their own, a higher circle of judgment that a the ordinary person does not become engulfed amongst. ...
